Terms of Service

1. The service
Zenius is a language-learning app built around conversations with AI tutors, a personal vocabulary (“Word Garden”), mini-games and messaging with friends. By creating an account or using Zenius you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials safe: what happens under your account is your responsibility. You must be at least 13 years old to use Zenius.
3. AI tutors — a friendly disclaimer
Zenius tutors are artificial intelligence. They are designed to help you practise languages, but they can occasionally make mistakes, simplify things or produce inaccurate content. Zenius is a learning tool: tutor replies are not professional, medical, legal or financial advice.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t use Zenius to harass others, to send spam, to attempt to break or overload the service, or for anything illegal. When chatting with friends, be the person you’d like to chat with. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
5. Your content
Your conversations and saved words remain yours. You grant us the technical licence needed to store and process them in order to provide the service (including AI processing, as described in the Privacy Policy) — nothing more.
6. Pricing and changes to the service
Core features of Zenius are currently free. We may introduce optional paid plans in the future; if we do, prices and conditions will be clearly shown before any purchase. We may evolve, add or retire features to keep the service healthy.
7. Termination
You can stop using Zenius and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
8. Liability
Zenius is provided “as is”, without warranties of uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for indirect damages is excluded; in any case it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the last 12 months.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute will be handled by the competent court of the consumer’s place of residence where mandatory consumer rules apply.
